The aim is to develop works involving multiple forms of artistic expressions.

The Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement goes to the American choreographer Twyla Tharp. The Brazilian performer, author and director Carolina Bianchi received the Silver Lion.

Juries appointed for Venezia 82 Competition, the Orizzonti section and the “Luigi de Laurentiis” Award for a Debut Film.

Seven short films in a dedicated programme and a further film in competition within Orizzonti Shorts.

14 short films will compete for the Orizzonti Award for Best Short Film; 1 short film will screen Out of competition.

The Venice Immersive section will present 69 projects from 27 countries.

Origin by Yann Arthus-Bertrand (6 pm): a film linked to the Biennale Architettura 2025 scheduled before the announced Queen Kelly (9 pm).

The Final Cut in Venice program consists in three days of activities from 31 August to 2 September 2025.
